aRt jOurNaL

Love the idea, love what the youtube videos talk about. Love her example, love being able to paint over what I wrote and keep in private! Love it love it love it!
Always love drawing, but hardly ever pick up a paint brush. By having an art journal, I will be able to pick up a pen/brush or whatever and draw a tiny something or whatever I want. Draw what I feel like... how good does this sound!!

Thanks Sis for the idea. LOVE IT!

Journaling??

Don't remember what I was reading earlier, but I wanted to start journaling again. I journaled for a month or so a few years ago. that didn't last long and I just stop writing. I'm trying to decide if I want a blog that is completely private or should I get a blank book and start writing. I don't know, I will probably sit on this for a while before I decide. ;)

Guess what I cooked up again??

Lotion bar...

Oh, it's so nice and smells so good. We tried two of them last night and this AM, my skin is so silky soft.

I used coconut oil, almond oil, shea butter, a touch of beeswax to hold things together, calendular oil for the properties, and 3 drops of sweet orange EO and ylang ylang EO... Awesome. Gotta go to Mt rose and get more shea butter and maybe some apricot oil... DH loved it too, he usually doesn't like any of my creation. :)

completed my socks...

I read a lot about second sock syndrome, and I strongly believe I suffered greatly from this thing. I think this pair of socks took me more than a year to complete... Well, first off, I misread the pattern and complete skipped all the even rows when I was 75% done, so that's dragging to finish something I know i messed up, and of course, refused to rib all of them as this thing took me so long to finish. Anyways, am glad this is done and wore this out twice and oh so comfy!

Remember the rat??

It's been over a week since we set the traps and there's nothing. for the past couple of days, I smell something weird, and I asked DH what that is. He said it must be the peanut butter that is going bad. So, I bought his idea for a couple of days. Last night while we are out having dinner, there were some leftovers and then we went to the grocery store. When we are done shopping, and start the car... Honey... it's that smell again. Maybe the rat is dead in the car somewhere?? DH-Oh no, it is just the smell of the leftovers from dinner. Nothing to worry about. Of course, I said OK! We needed to get some gas, so we stopped at the gas station, and DH decided to take a look in the hood. Wala, he said the rat is there. DEAD! BURN. So we drove home and he got the honor to remove la rat. He came in and said, the fur of the rat is stuck on the battery, it's pretty a rare (in terms of the temperature like steak) and the fur got stuck on the battery and he gotta rub the remains off...
