DH's urban gloves

Whew... one down. but since I have been frogging the second one 3 plus times, I decided to do something else.

I am going to knit myself a pair of fair isle mittens from Knitty.

One project down

I just completed Dad's neckwarmer. It's an easy and boring knit... ribbings all along. The yarn is very soft and it is definitely great if you have asthma to cover your neck area up.

guess what's in the rat traps??

NOTHING!! Absolutely nothing. Instructions stated we should put peanut butter. Well... it's either the rats doesn't like all organic/raw peanut butter or they will only eat "plastic" peanut butter.... Better yet, they decided to leave the garage as they know we set traps to trap them. go figure
I am currently knitting this sock and I am loving it. I am finally using my own hand-dyed sock yarn from yarn fairy. :) I know I called in strawberry field, but it's more like sunset now. I will post pics as I knit more. It's also my first time using a chart. it's not that bad after the first couple of rows. Yeah! Another challenge complete!

We have a problem...

no... it's not because of the Patriots vs chargers....
No... I am not expecting...
Guess what??? RATS!!! In the garage!!
We got some rat traps and we shall see how it goes.

On another note... I can only send positive thoughts to the game this Sunday... Seau is going to play as Patriot against the bolts... :(

CHARGE!!

28-24!! We beat the colts!!

We made it to Seau's at 8:55 and at 9:40, they told us they don't have tables... So, we rush to Oggi's in Del Mar and that place was empty. It was not a fun experience. Half time, we left and drove home and be comfortable.

Anyways, the chargers are going to New England! Best of luck BOLTS!!!!!

GO CHARGERS!!!

Tomorrow is the day. DH and I bought Charger's t-shirts!! Although this will be our last year here in SD, but we got the Charger's bug!! We are planning to go to Seau's tomorrow and watch the game. This will definitely be an interesting experience.

pics of pinwheel...

I am not sure if I like this or not.... but here it is...

Pinwheel is finally done!!

A year and couple of months later, Pinwheel is finally done. I will probably post a pic of her tomorrow. I wanted to take a pic today, but DH said I should change and look a little bit better before taking the pic. OK... you gotta wait. :)

I am looking for another sweater to work on. I wonder what?? I know for sure I wanted something with a hood! Other than that, I need to knit a pair of gloves for DH, one more for myself. I got the yarns already. But I am waiting for the needles to come... tick tick tick... Oh... Lots of socks are also on the way as I want to start wearing hand knit socks when it's cold... like... when I move up to the bay area! So, it's time to stock up. Yarn fairy destash and gave me two of her dye me sock yarn. I wonder what color I would dye them... keke...

Happy New Year

I was writing my new year's resolution on another site. Here is for myself to look back in 12 months...

-Start taking CLO and CO regularly
-Make bone broth twice a month
-Eat out maybe twice a week MAX
-Stay away from chips... (This will be a tough one)
