A book of practical recipes for housewives

This is an awesome digital book I found on line. Take a look as there are lots of recipes that I would expect to see from the original Joy of cooking.

I can't wait to try some of them!

A new blog of mine...

Hand in hand, together we can...

I haven't decide who I will be sharing this blog with, but I guess whoever is reading my fun living blog can read my other blog. I know a few of you out there that doesn't drop me a note, but that's OK. Thanks for reading because I know you care.

I decided to start a brand new blog is because I want to journal my new chapter of life. While handing DH's hand, we can do this.

I am up at 2:30 AM because of what someone said...

Given it's graduation weekend for DH, everyone in that side of the family is in town. And while the ILs doesn't know which college their son or daughters went (Which is OK), as I will give them the ignorance part. The SIL actually dare to say that UCSD is just a "slightly" better school with a smuck on her face -- actually saying that SDSU is just a better school... I am so pissed! I am not a UC grad, but I truly know how much better the school is. Given everyone in my family is a UC grad except me! Ha!! And guess what... I am losing sleep on this...

So, I decided to crawl out of bed and did some research on 08 rankings from US news... There... the rankings speak much louder than anything I will say. And I am just so close in sending this out to everyone and tell them to back off and truly appreciate the college ed his son/brother received, and no... he is not a construction worker, he is a structural engineer!!

UCSD is rank 38 nationally
USD 107
SDSU is not even rated and is listed as 4th tier...

Will be posting pics later today... and I gotta find my 1000 paper crans pic!

Family soul work

** I peel this off from a forum I was reading... But oh my... That might explain why I am the way I am today being the youngest of everyone... Note to self: Please don't do that to my future kids, ever!!

The idea is that we are
intricately connected on a soul level with every member of our family.
It's like a web and it is known as the "constellation." There are lessons
we come here to learn and if we cannot do that the burden falls down to
the youngest member at the time. In your family that would be your kids.
If you cannot as an individual heal then the task is handed down. You have
the opportunity to help them heal. If that cannot for whatever reason
happen, the duty is again passed down. It will become more apparent each
time it is in an effort to make itself known. In homeopathy this is called
a chronic miasm.

It's my feeling that it is our duty to heal everything we can and take
that load off of our kids. I believe they came here as active
participants, willing to take on these tasks. That doesn't mean that they
should. This is a big motivation for me. I want my families constellation
to be as clear as I can make it. I will keep going to the best of my
abilities so that my kids, and my kid's kid's can be as free as possible.
Of course a big payoff is happier, disease free lives as we move towards
that goal!
